Credit goes out to our residential wordsmith, Charlie, for his excellent work in crafting this! Every campaign needs a good wordsmith, and this one was no exception.
Thanks so much for your comment, anon. We wish some people could learn to respect differing opinions too. Or at least refrain from discussing something without unnecessary insults. Apparently fandom will fight about anything, even a project started to simply stand up for the original creator’s worldview of the show.
Supporters, if you have concerns about some of the slander and rumors going around about us, this link is for you.
Thanks so much, anon! Your comment gave us a warm smile as one of the first overwhelmingly positive responses we received last week. Thanks so much for dropping it by. We hope this campaign has been helpful in letting you know you are most definitely not alone. :)

Now that we’ve got that nonsense over with, FOR OUR SUPPORTERS!
We have some new additions to the site today! Especially for those of you hard at work trying to craft your letters. :)
If you go to our CONTACTS page, you can now find:
This is what letters our team personally will be sending out. They simply represent an idea. If you like them and want to use them, please do so. If you want to write your own? We encourage you to do so, things in your own words always hold more weight. May this be a source of inspiration for you.
IMPORTANT TIPS TO REMEMBER:
Any other questions, ideas, or concerns? Our askbox is always open, however our most immediate response will be via Twitter.
Good luck, everyone!
From our ABOUT page:
We recognize that due to the prevalence of fandom bullying on this subject, some fans feel uncomfortable leaving comments in public places with their name on them. If you would like to submit an anonymous comment made on another site, whether it be yours or someone else’s, we would like to accept that.
Thanks for proving us oh so right with yesterday’s backlash. We had a strong feeling that the bullies were suppressing finale complaints. Because we saw very different comments behind locked posts and emails than we did in public places. Now, some fans are using the “if you support this, unfollow now” approach. And some fans are sending cruel, harassing comments to our supporters just because they mention/like/reblog something of ours. And our twitter feed had a virus sent to it (watch what you click, supporters). Meanwhile, four months ago Operation Trenchcoat debuted, advocating going over the writers’ heads to get the network to tell them what to do, and they were met with open support.
Writers, producers, CW? Take note of this. This is large reason why we felt the need to do this project. We felt you weren’t getting the real, honest reaction from this season and finale from those who represent the reasonable middle ground of viewers, because some fans were being silenced from expressing their true opinions. We felt you deserved a more honest response.
We do not understand what we are doing that requires such vicious attacks as we have remained civil and respectful, even in the face of everything hurled at us. Who knew fans could hate your guts just for wanting better for your show and its two main leads?
For the record, we do not seek or claim to be anything like the Trenchcoat project. In fact, none of us even knew of its existence until we started this. And frankly, we are shocked anyone would suggest going over the writers heads to get stories changed and that it would be met with such public praise. We feel we are doing something wholly different—letting silenced opinions be heard. We’re not advocating for storylines to be changed. We’re simply saying we know you can tell them better. There’s a difference between asking for better execution and demanding a wrench be thrown in creative plans.
This is the last time we will talk about this here, as we have said before, this is not a space created for fandom warfare.

Thank you so much for adding your voice. This is our team’s experience as well, and a large part of the message we want to communicate to TPTB. Sometimes it’s hard for incredibly devoted fans to remember the large viewership of Supernatural extends beyond their circle of online friends. But we believe it should be a very important consideration for both the writers and the studio/network.
